Senior pathologist with proven scientific track record:
DGRI is searching for a talented senior pathologist with proven expertise in basic studies of gastrointestinal tissues. The responsibilities of the position include providing standard and novel pathology methods to support on-going studies in a variety of gastrointestinal diseases. Special focus on immunohistochemistry and scientific designs. Presentation and publishing results of studies at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed journals. Liaising with scientists internally and externally, interaction with authorities when needed.
Candidates should have strong academic credentials with demonstrated expertise in the design and conduct of pathological studies in the context of DGRIs current focus areas. Candidates should have experience in advanced methodologies, data analysis and it would be preferable with a candidate with previous work on gastrointestinal complications to diabetes. Candidates should have the ability to operate in an inter-disciplinary team across the institute and its partners worldwide. No need to say the candidate must speak fluently English.
